Super Sunday & Our Daily Bread Collection full again! Thank you Jesus and Church Family! Super Sunday was such a great time of communion and fellowship (the Cinco de Mayo potluck was amazing). In June we will honor Graduating Seniors on Super Sunday – please mark your calendar on June 2nd.
Wednesday Night Ministries – This Wednesday, May 8, the Community Meal will be Sloppy Joes served at 5:45 pm. Join us for an evening of Bible study, food, fun and fellowship. Pastor Ruben is leading the Adult Bible study and prayer meeting! Next Wednesday, May 15, will be the final Wednesday Night Children’s ministry for the school year. Mrs. Bea will be serving hot dogs, chili, & frito pie! Join us as we celebrate the end of the school year.
Mother’s Day, Sunday May 12 – Join us this Sunday as we celebrate Mother’s Day with a breakfast for Mom’s at 10:00 am! We will meet at 9:45 am as Sunday School classes, pray together and then adjourn to the fellowship hall for breakfast. Shelley will bring the message.
Young Couples Luncheon May 19, 2019
Follow up from our Son-Rise Service Meeting. Great Things are about to be done with the Young Couples Ministry! Join us, as we plan the how the young couples are the future Church, Small Group Dates and Children’s Church! Very Exciting God Times!
Food Pantry distribution day is May 15th,the pantry will be open for distribution to anyone in need. We are also looking for volunteers to attend the Annual Agency Conference of the Golden Crescent Food Bank in Victoria. 9:00 am – 3:00 pm on Friday, May 31st. Bayside will pay for conference fees and transportation for those volunteering to attend. Please contact Bro. Pete for more information.

VBS – VBS is just around the corner! Are you ready to get back to the farm? Please pray for Jenny Sullivan, she feels her recovery is progressing well and is ready to return as VBS Director (Farm Extension Agent) for Bayside Community Church. Just as on a real farm family, we might not have it all together, but together we have it all! If you would like to sign up to help with the chuck wagon, story tellin’, barn raisin’ (stage decoration), field days (hands on presentations) please contact Shelley. The rooster is ready to start crowing again to kick off each day of VBS!
The Library is Open! – Please do not forget that Mrs. Rose Thigpen has established the library for us in the middle classroom. She has collected several books and is looking for DVDs. Please come by and take advantage of this resource that is here for you at Bayside. Library hours will be extended during the Summer. The doors will be open Tuesday, Wednesday & Thursdays from 9 am to 1 pm. (excluding holidays)
Operation Christmas Child – a tote box has been started in the fellowship hall to store items for the Christmas shoe boxes. If you see something on sale or clearance, grab it and bring it. We can store it in the tote until it is time to fill and ship off the boxes later this year!
Please join us tonight in prayer, the needs for healing are many and where two are more are gathered the Lord has promised to be there!
